Terms of use

These terms apply when you use PDF Fix, operated by PDF Fix (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

PDF Fix helps you read, search, combine, split, scan-clean, make searchable and shrink PDF files. Your documents are processed in your own browser on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.

Your account

You must give a working email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Free and Pro

Some features are free. Pro costs $39/year and renews every year until cancelled. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the seller of record and sends your receipt. You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. See the refund policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to harm others, or to try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your files and results

You keep all rights in your files. Results are produced by automated tools (for example text recognition and image clean-up) and can contain mistakes. Check important documents yourself before relying on them. Keep your original files.

No guarantee

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; we will tell you about important changes. You may stop using the service at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

Contact and governing law
